 Summary:

This 2003 Christmas comedy stars Billy Bob Thornton, Bernie Mac and Lauren Graham. This movie can be found on Netflix next time you’re on Netflix and looking for a comedy/ crime Christmas movie check it out! In summary this movie is based on two conmen one that plays “santa” and the other that plays “the elf”. They go into mall department stores and attempt to break into the safe on Christmas Eve. However, this particular Christmas they run into trouble when they meet an 8 year old boy played by Brett Kelly who just wants to be friends with the two conmen, and then shows them the real meaning of Christmas. When the security guard find out what they are doing it all comes to an end.

This movie is really funny, has a lot of humor and great acting! I have always loved Christmas movies and this one has to be one of my favorites, it’s a comedy/crime movie and had me constantly laughing! For this movie I would give it, 7 out of 10 for being pretty funny!

Summary:

The movie Bruce Almighty stars Jim Carry, who in the movie is named Bruce. He has a girlfriend named Grace who is played by Jennifer Aniston. Bruce works for the news in covering media stories and works hard to become a news anchor. When he finally gets the job as a news anchor it does not last long. His enemy co-worker gets promoted and ends up taking his job. Bruce becomes furious and complains to God, played by Morgan Freeman for what had happened. God answers to his and gives him his powers to see if Bruce could do a better job, but the powers had to be kept secret from everyone else.  He overdoes his privilege by using the powers for his own personal things. As the movie goes on he begins to hear noises from people who are saying prayers and only get worse he is overwhelmed as he finds out how difficult the job of God is. He ends up losing Grace as well. Later on he hears a prayer from Grace that really made his want her back. He tells God his job is too hard to handle and wants his normal life back. Grace and Bruce united again.

I would give Bruce Almighty 5 out of 10. There were points that made me laugh throughout the movie but nothing that I found to be extremely funny. I can say I surely, will be interested in watching the sequel.
